Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facility - Hong Kong, China

This proposal was intended to create an iconic, ecologically sustainable, and functionally effective boundary crossing experience for the delight and comfort of travelers between Macao and Hong Kong.  The formal concept for this proposal is about the life of the sea.  It is an expression of vertebrate morphology together with landform and sea-form associations, their expressive and cleansing functions, and the nature of their organizational patterns. The design included detailed coordination of building forms with site and building ecological systems in order to create a self-sustaining infrastructure for the site operators.
